Results basics
The Campaign Results section shows a campaign's results and metrics after it's started. You can see how many users received the campaign, how many converted, and how each action in the campaign performed.
This page explains how to read the Metrics on the left half of the screen. To learn about the campaign funnel on the right, see Campaign Flow.
Results Overview
The Results Overview shows your high-level campaign results, including the number of users who entered the campaign, your overall conversion rate, and some results for each different type of channel in the campaign (e.g. email results, push, etc.).
You can click any metrics or graphs in the Results Overview to see a deeper dive into that particular result.
Data freshness
Data in the Results tab has near real-time data freshness, with only up to 10 minutes delay after results are tracked and sent to our platform. Please be aware that the unique metrics can show up to 2% deviation at all times.
View key campaign metrics
The circle graphs show your key campaign metrics:
- Users — Total campaign entries and unique users.
- Engaged — Unique users who interacted with one or more actions in the campaign.
- Conversions — Total conversions and conversion rate.
See our Campaign Metrics glossary for more detailed definitions of these metrics.
View aggregate channel metrics
These will combine the metrics for each type of message in the campaign. Understand which channels help you reach the most people using the aggregate channel metrics.
See more on our aggregate channel metrics with definitions in our Aggregate Metric Glossary.
Explore
Select a metric from the Overview or click Explore to see your campaign's results over time. The line graph shows how the selected metric has changed over the selected date range. Change the time range using the dropdown below the title above the graph.
All data is shown in your current time zone. For example, if you are viewing the Engaged metric for a single day and you are in PST time zone, it will display the number of engaged users between 00:00:00 PST and 23:59:59 PST on that day. If you are viewing the same metric for the same day from a different location and time zone, say EST or CET, this will give you the number of engaged users on that day in that particular time zone.
View results for a single action
On the right half of the Results screen, you'll see the Campaign Flow with an action card for each action in the campaign. Each action card shows the number of users who received the action and the number of Campaign conversions attributed to that action. This can help you determine which actions are most effective in your campaign.
Conversions will be attributed to the last action the user interacted with or the last action they received, if they didn't interact with any.
Click any action card, and the Metrics screen will display detailed metrics for that specific action. You can view an overview of that action's key metrics or explore deeper into its event and metric numbers.
You can also view the action's copy and settings in more detail by clicking the **View Action" button. That will take you back to the Actions tab of the composer where you set up the action.
View in Analytics dashboard
You can also go to the Analytics dashboard to do more in-depth analysis. Click the link at the bottom of the Results tab to see your Campaign reports in the Analytics dashboard.
Keep in mind that the results shown in the Analytics exclude the data regarding the user profiles marked as developers, while campaign results don’t.
This can result e.g. in having more sends in the campaign's results data and less in the Analytics.
View Audience details
View Users in Campaign
To explore the users who entered a campaign, click "Users in Campaign" at the bottom of the page. This will navigate you to the Audience Details page with an auto-populated segment of users.
You can save this segment for later use — say, if you wanted to re-target these users with a follow-up campaign.
View Users in Action
You can also explore users who were sent a specific action in the campaign. Select the action in the campaign flow on the right, then click "Users in Action" to automatically view a segment of these users in the Users page.
